Mentors and mentees met occasionally and discussed various project-related issues. The main points of interest were branding strategy, marketing channels, and business development/sales areas. Also, by employing a personal network they have managed to get some contacts in the Croatian Forestry Institute, which will help the Trunk in the next phase. At the moment, the project is in the later stages of development - the next challenge being the acquisition of first customers, and finding some local partners. It aims to become a model for sustainable events and a platform through which sustainable solutions are disseminated. It is hoped that it will always serve as an educational and an action hub and will offer free advice and models for sustainable solutions (energy, food, waste, cooperation with locals…) for other event-organizers.
