Mentors explained a business plan with example projects and created connections with the Business Model Canvas and financial sources. Also, they examined the Structure of the Company, Market Research, Marketing Plan, Production Plan, Finance Plan, and Action Plan as the parts of the business plan. Their work included creating a SMART goal for the specified problem and defining the action steps by using the Work Breakdown Structure Model. Aims of the training were to teach the importance of a SMART Goal and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure). Business Model Canvas focused on the explanation of each section with examples of application. They connected Value Proposition to Customer Segments with appropriate channels and explained the importance of Key Resources, Partners, and Activities, as well as their relation to the Cost Structure and Revenue Models. Finally, they updated their action plan according to the Canvas they have created. One of the aims of the sessions was to teach the application of the Business Model Canvas to any business case, as well as the mentees' projects.
